The philosophy of science cucks are claiming relevance of their own field by two arguments:
1. The scientific method was allegedly invented by philosophy. (Historically untrue, but let's play along with them for the argument)
2. The scientific method is flawed and needs improvement which allegedly the scientists themselves can't do.

This yields the following questions:
1. Why would philosophy plebs be proud of producing a flawed method?
2. Why didn't they fix it yet? If they are unable to fix it, then doesn't this show their own uselessness?

While you guys are struggling with failing to fix a flaw you simultanously brag about, in the meantime science explains the world around us.

you ought to define what you mean by "knowledge". For anything empirical and testable then the scientific method is the best way of acquiring this form of knowledge. The word science originates from "scientia", meaning knowledge. You could argue that anything that isn't testable isn't truly knowledge, but belief. Now I won't go as far as to suggest that belief is inherently inferior to knowledge, or even necessarily at odds with it to begin with. However, those are two distinct things and shouldn't be conflated.

Niels Bohr
>I felt ... that philosophers were very odd people who really were lost, because they have not the instinct that it is important to learn something and that we must be prepared really to learn something of very great importance. There are all kinds of people, but I think it would be reasonable to say that no man who is called a philosopher really understands what one means by the complementary description.

Paul Dirac
>I tried to appreciate it, but I did not get very much success in trying to appreciate philosophy. I feel that philosophy will never lead to important discoveries. It’s just a way of talking about discoveries which have already been made.

Richard Feynman:
>I rapidly learned that philosophy, as far as I was concerned, the philosophers who were respected were really quite poor and rather stupid people — at least, from the modern point of view. It seems to me that there were trivial errors in logic which were obvious. Very poor, it seemed to me.

Steven Weinberg: http://joelvelasco.net/teaching/167win10/Weinberg%20against%20philosophy.pdf
>The value today of philosophy to physics seems to me to be something like the value of early nation-states to their peoples. It is only a small exaggeration to say that, until the introduction of the post office, the chief service of nation-states was to protect their peoples from other nation-states. The insights of philosophers have occasionally benefited physicists, but generally in a negative fashion—by protecting them from the preconceptions of other philosophers.

Stephen Hawking:
>Traditionally these are questions for philosophy, but philosophy is dead. Philosophy has not kept up with modern developments in science, particularly physics. Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge.

Philo Judaeus affirmeth, that by this part of Magick or Astrologie, together with
the motions of the Stars and other heavenly bodies, Abraham found out the knowl-
edge of the true God while he lived in Caldea, Qui Contemplatione Creaturarum, cog-
novit Creatorem (saith Damascen) who knew the Creator by the contemplation of the
creature. Josephus reporteth of Abraham, that he instructed the Egyptians in Arith-
metic and Astronomy; who before Abraham’s coming unto them, knew none of these
Sciences.
Abraham sanctitate & sapientia omnium præstantissimus, primum Caldæos, deinde
Phoenices, demum Egyptios Sacerdotes, Astrologia & Divina docuerit. Abraham the holi-
est and wisest of men, did first teach the Caldeans, then the Phoenicians, lastly the
Egyptian Priests, Astrologie and Divine knowledge.
Without doubt, Hermes Trismegistus, that divine Magician and Philosopher,
who (as some say) lived long before Noah, attained to much Divine knowledge of the
Creator through the study of Magick and Astrologie; as his writings testifie.
The third kind of Magick containeth the whole Philosophy of Nature; which
bringeth to light the innermost virtues, and extracteth them out of Nature’s hidden
bosome to humane use: Virtutes in centro centri latentes; Virtues hidden in the centre
of the Centre, according to the Chymists: of this sort were Albertus, Arnoldus de villa
nova, Raymond, Bacon and others, &c.
The Magick these men professed, is thus defined. Magia est connexio a viro sapi-
ente agentium per naturam cum patientibus, sibi, congruenter respondentibus, ut inde
opera prodeant, non sine corum admiratione qui causam ignorant. Magick is the connex-
ion of natural agents and patients, answerable each to other, wrought by a wise man,
to the bringing forth of such effects as are wonderful to those that know not their
causes.

>After a few years' infatuation with philosophy as an undergraduate I became disenchanted. The insights of the philosophers I studied seemed murky and inconsequential compared with the dazzling successes of physics and mathematics.
> I am not alone in this; I know of no one who has participated actively in the advance of physics in the postwar period whose research has been significantly helped by the work of philosophers.
