Something like Holiday heart syndrome probably.
Although your normal HR is quite high IMO. In general it's common higher HR after drinking coffee, alcohol or having fever, but if the normal HR is high idk, it's only the pounding heart discomfort?

I really only notice it when I get in bed after heavy drinking.

Sue the Department of Defense/DARPA for criminal negligence/illegal use and possession of criminal instruments. If that isn't specific enough, I can name and describe some IP they've stolen from me and fashioned into criminal instruments, such as the consolidated "mental math" solution to the compound slope equation I created and developed in fall 2000-spring 2001--stolen by DARPA criminal instruments, by organized criminals with DARPA protection, fashioned into criminal instruments like database-crackers, and used to fund the 9/11/2001 terror attacks. The most recent criminal instruments toolkit DARPA's been known to hand out like candy (see: BRIDGES) is called STITCHES/PROWESS--both are UTTERLY DEPENDANT on mathematical precision IP I created and they stole, see my comments here:

Isn't that pretty normal? Just enjoy the adrenaline of the first drink or two and then you won't even feel your chest once you're actually drunk and you can chill, and you don't have to deal with the racing heart again until you wake up at 5am on what feels like a kayak in the open ocean. Don't worry, you'll get used to it.

Gender's a hoax. I've got XX genes, and was forcefully sterilized as a result of the DoD's criminal neglect, 1983-1984, using known methods and procedures that rob an XX individual of fertility while inducing development of functional but infertile XX penis and XX testes. My driver's licenses have said "F" since 2011-2012, after a series of paperwork updates facilitated by organized crime (within the US court system). I thought I was transgender when I was younger, but it turns out, I was "XX" the whole time. Explains the tits I got as a preteen.

Marathon runners seem to be doing fine to me, I think the liver and brain damage is a bigger issue, the heart stuff is only a problem if you're a fatass

No the same.
Heart rate of someone athletic can be 40-50 bpm compared to 60-80 of a normal person.
On average an athletic person can have fairly lower cumulative total of heart beats.

It's in other populations too, just common in Asians. It might not even be that. Mostly I wanted an excuse to share the video.
>The Asian flush is best known for creating a lobster-red face and neck when people drink alcohol, but the condition also results in a heightened heart rate, headache and nausea. That’s because people who turn tomato red when they drink alcohol lack activity by an enzyme called aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2).

Alcohol or ethanol is broken down or converted in the liver to acetaldehyde, a highly toxic compound that contributes to the hungover feeling. In most people, acetaldehyde is rapidly transformed to harmless acetate and water.

However, for some Asians, Ashkenazi Jews and others whose gene pool contains a mutant or altered form of the ALDH2 gene, the toxic acetaldehyde isn’t broken down as quickly, so it hangs around and accumulates in the liver and body — resulting in what is known as the Asian glow.
