How do you quickly and inoffensively tell how smart someone is in a social situation?
I personally don't care about IQ, only if someone if able to consider new ideas that oppose their dogma told to them by the government and media. For example I know a guy who doesn't care that I'm racist and homophobic despite being against that kind of thing and sometimes admits I'm right.
>>15016492few minutes of smalltalk usually does the trick
>>15016497If you're more than one standard deviation of IQ away from somebody, it is often very hard to socialize with them. Hence >>15016523
>>15016540You're autistic and have a superiority complex, which is a very typical midwit trait.
>>15016492Being able to talk fast and use the correct vocab to explain something simply and eloquently is what I look for.Midwits usually vocab jerkoff by using words they recently learned the meaning of to try and pass off as smart. They have a filter of dumb subconscious manipulative techniques just to try and position themselves above others in a social hierarchy.
>>150164921: Do they consider they might be wrong? Do they evaluate their own actions in general? If so, they will be better at learning from others.2: Do they have empathy? If not, they likely won't be of use to anyone anyway, or will require a considerable amount of compensation.3: Do they use /sci/? If so, run.
>>15016492Poor reading comprehension almost invariably blows the 4chan pseud's cover.
>>15016668>judging a persons entire capabilities off of how they talk I don't get that, most of the smartest people I have met can't even form a basic sentence together without sperging out cause they never talk to anyone. usually lower IQ people can discern a person or any kind of social situation from a mile away, their EQ is really impressive and a lot of them could be good social workers if they get their act together.
>>15017447I think that's more a matter of specialization.
>>15016492Ask them about a small detail that you know they paid attention to, e.g. "What was our waiter's name again?"
>>15016492The fact that you're fixated on "IQ" as an equivalent of intelligence is evidence you're unlikely to ever be involved in an intelligent social situation yourself.
>>15016668>Midwits usually vocab jerkoff by using words they recently learned the meaning of to try and pass off as smart. They have a filter of dumb subconscious manipulative techniques just to try and position themselves above others in a social hierarchy.I mean it's par for the course for them, as midwits are practically defined by their wordthinker status.
>>15016497>I personally don't care about the best predictor of intelligence
ask them what they like to read
>>15016492Midwits think they are being sneaky using indirect questions to gather personal information. This is why you should always lie to a midwit.
