Because IQ literally tells you everything you need to know about yourself going in to STEM and where to set the bar.

You have sub 130 IQ? Just don’t go into STEM, it’s not likely to yield you anything worthwhile. The concepts are going to take way too long for you to grasp in the very high pace environment that a university is.

If you know what you are capable of and not from the getgo, then you can avoid wasting time on things you’re not meant to do
