How do I cope with the fact that I'll lose almost all my undergrad physics knowledge a year after graduation? I'm struggling just trying to remember freshman stuff. I don't want people to start calling me a brainlet...

Do not mind forgetting lies, arrogant claims of people fooling themselves into thinking they understand the laws of the universe. Science and false knowledge is not important, making friends, loving others is.

That's normal.
You need a lot more repetition to never forget that shit again.
However, you should be able to recall all that shit quite quickly when you reread a book or a wiki article.

Uh mister I think you're on the wrong board.

What a brainlet...

should have been a pvre math major and studied concepts instead of rote memorized problems for the test

Lmao, just study it again.
Did you really think you would cram it all into your head after reading just one book for each topic? Just read more books or re-read the books you have already read if you think they were good.

Also this.

You can just do the books again.
Taylor for classical mechanics, Griffiths for EM and QM, reif for thermal physics.
Or you can just buy the grad level books and start doing them like lemos for analytical mechanics.

> after graduation
where you'll never need all that knowledge. you have the degree proving you did the work and could do it again if needed (which you won't)

I was scared of this too at first. But then I realized that it's not really about keeping every peace of kowledge you gain in the forefront of your mind, but just having a general overview of all the concepts you've learned. So if in the future you need something, maybe you won't immediately know all the equations and explanations off the top of your head, but it will be significantly easier to quickly look it up and remember it again than if you had never heard of it at all

This. Math builds on each other, I've forgotten zero things.
Physics is just retards literally plugging and chugging, its crazy to me that its an actual degree program.

>terrified beyond belief that I'll fail courses and finally be kicked out of math program
>study nonstop, do nothing else
>straight A's, never even been close to a B
I am still so scared. I know I will eventually get to a course where I will no longer be able to brute force my way thought and be exposed for being a retard. I'm in intro to lie algebras right now, and next semester all I have left is number theory and topics in geometric analysis. 3 chances to fail, 3 chances to drop below 4.0 major GPA.
