Teams need coordinators. You need to speak only with your manager not a free-for-all speech potpourri. Any real conversation has to be 1 to 1. Also the effective number of subordinates a manager can run is 5.
Small companies are much better run than large companies, however they suffer due to higher interest rates and little interest from investment banks.
