How long do you give humanity before AI becomes too powerful for us and either kills us all or takes away our purpose in life by rendering us obsolete?
I think 2050 is a conservative estimate for the end of humanity

>"AI IS GOING TO DESTROY US"
>"Why?"

It's just not going to happen, AI is just going to make our retarded and opaque systems of administration even more opaue and maybe slightly less retarded, all you as the average cattle will get is more supervision while talking to some shitty branded decive that controls your fridge. The biggest impact AI will have in our lifetime is never talking to real human being ever again when calling customer service

Don't worry, with the depletion of energy resources and the ensuing energy crisis, there won't be enough juice to power your fantasy AI overlord. The reverse of the medal is that there will be a global civil war, and that while you were jerking off with AI doom, Jibril and Mamadu were sharpening their knives to slit your incel throat.
