because blue marble 2002 was never claimed to be a real photo of the earth. it was created from a variety of data sources including imagery from the terra satellite. There were some gaps in the imagery they had at the time so the guy who made the image reused some elements in a few places. Blue marble 2002 was more of a digital art project than anything else but for back then it was very nicely done. Now we have actual full earth photos up the wazoo but no, flatards must keep going on about this one from 20 years ago.

Flat earth retards have seized upon this openly admitted fact for years as a way to create doubt about every single satellite image taken since, which makes no sense at all. But then, flat earth makes no sense at all either.
