this.
A few 2nd parts videos to show some stuff more in depth would improve the quality of the channel. It's a good channel, but keeping at the basics or treating some topics shallowly it's a meh.

Feynman's popular book "QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter" helped me understand introductory quantum mechanics, especially the more philosophical aspects that are sometimes butchered by typical introductory textbooks, but it is still pop-sci. Compare QED to Feynman and Hibbs and the distinction is all too plain to see.

You are wrong on both counts. Pop-sci is science exposition for entertainment. It doesn't matter how detailed it is. On top of the 3b1b doesn't go into the details. Again, compare an introductory textbook on a topic to one of his videos and you will see even the intro book goes into way more detail than he does.
