Feynman's popular book "QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter" helped me understand introductory quantum mechanics, especially the more philosophical aspects that are sometimes butchered by typical introductory textbooks, but it is still pop-sci. Compare QED to Feynman and Hibbs and the distinction is all too plain to see.
