Video creators can pay YouTube for preferential treatment in people's recommendations queue. The Jewish woman from Big Bang Theory and now Jeopardy uses it to push her videos so it wouldn't surprise me if Lex used it too because he wants to be famous.

The cadence of his speech vexes and perplexes me. It's not a flowing forth nor is it a jagging of edges, but it's as if he imagines to be filling up individual cups with the individual amount of time it took him voice forth his thoughts; and in doing so always making sure to fill it up to the brim. Teetering on the edge of dragging on, and yet if I reflect and judge objectively I find he isn't slow at all. Though for sure he isn't quick nor swift in his elocution.

Well, for once, he is a pseud grifter who calls himself an MIT researcher while in reality he only was a research affiliate (a position which from MIT website says they are not on campus, no salary and no official duties).
He also refused to get his research peer reviewed as "the peer review system is corrupt"
He also tried to memoryhole a paper and deleted it from his webpage when he got refuted hard.
He also talks like a fucking retard and does some of the worst science related interviews on the web.

This, I swear theres something really off about him and what he knows. I know hes young but Im sorry with the things you hear him say on the podcast hes either insanely naive and the bar for universities have just gotten that low or he's full of it. I watch him now and then for the same reason I watch Rogan, when the guests are good I dont mind as long as they're speaking their peace most of the episode. Unfortunately besides Bret Weinstein I dont really think there's many podcasts out there that are good and have a more academic spin with guests to boot. Would love to be proven wrong because though.
