WHY THE FUCK DO THE STARS SHINE LIKE ITS A FUCKIGN 1960 SCIFI PAINTING??????

>> No.14650736

>>14650715
imagine hubble images, except we can see more stars in the background and they are shinier!

"12 billion dollars"
"decades of research"
"people dedicated their lives"

what is actually happening:
- Researchers only working one week a month while taking exotic vacations the rest of the time
- Researchers researching on which mansions to buy over two decades

Heres a slightly brighter picture than the one from 30 years ago bro!

Why is anything space related a complete scam? People are so blind to find out truth, they blindly throw money into it like a church donation hat.

So just like hubble - different wavelengths so we see it somewhat differently? Meeeeeh big deal
Where are my aliens? Where are my 1000s of hospitable planets? Where are the mysteries of the universe? Wtf are black holes, how do they work?
JWST is a dud. It's too weak to answer the real questions of life and universe.

what is it about black holes that makes them the number one most popular popsci topic of discussion amongst the brainlet soience fangoys?
is it the comic bookish aspects of the spectacular, unrealistic and completely non disprovable conjectures which go along with the topic that make black holes so popular amongst the scientist posers and wannabes?

So with the Hubble there were people who scrutinized every image by hand and categorized every star, right?
That doesn't seem feasible with JWST. Gonna have to be machine analyzed and categorized. Just too many fucking stars and the number of images will be pouring in since the new telescope needs shorter exposure times.

>I really wish they would tone down the false coloring
the image would be black if it was in true color, because this is an IR signal.
everything but the most basic intensity-only imaging systems have to process their signals in some way. even a digital color camera senses signal though a bayer filter that must be demosaiced before it is usable in familiar RGB form.
