Looking forward to it. I attended a seminar talk on DNA vaccines years ago. Now that RNA vaccines are shown to work, I'm thrilled for what's about to come. Might be that its goal of cancer vaccine is still far away or even unfeasible, but I'll keep following the development.

In a similar way, I'm looking forward on what CRISPR/Cas will bring. There are several diseases caused by "easy mutations", like Huntington's disease, cystic fibrosis and DMD. It will likely take decades until we decide on the ethics, and are confident in the safety, but still. Imagine having Huntington's disease and being able to have healthy children.

I look forward to a world with a population of 30 billion people and the average age is 150. surely a paradise on Earth

Btw, can someone post the Elvis meme? I cannot find it on my laptop. Too much unclassified data hoarding.

Helping people with defective genomes to successfully reproduce is pretty much the antithesis of eugenics, anon

The outcome is the same. A class of obedient robots, just smart enough to carry out the elite's task, but not smart enough to actually understand them.

It would have to be an mRNA strand that can improve known weak areas in the cell signalling pipeline that form cancer. It's way beyond our time.
