Most things related to mathematical foundations or logic
Started being interested in it after I had already finished university. Even the elementary books already addressed a lot of foundational concerns that are usually not addressed in undergrad classes or dealt with in a "trust me/don't worry about it" style (which does probably make sense pedagogically but it can still be unsatisfying sometimes)

Hmm were you just drawn to it because you feel like it's a fun hobby to learn about? Or do you think it will get you to some deeper truth? I think that's why most people study these type of topics in their leisure time, it can't be any other reason right?

I do it mostly out of curiosity and because it just happened to turn out to be an area of interest for me. I don't think it will help me in any other area of life and I honestly don't care too much about the philosophical aspects that are attached to the subject either. I mainly treat it as a "productive" hobby, it's interesting, challenging (and thus frustrating at times, but also satisfying to finally get something) and it also serves as a form of creative outlet of some sorts (since I'm not interested in art or writing etc)
