We are no where near optimal yet. We are heading toward a kind of 50 / 50 split "UBI, crypto type" system. Where 50% of every transaction is equally and frictionlessly shared.

That system is optimal efficiency which is what the Universe "craves". And that system will achieve total domination as a result.

There will be conflict until that system, and then humans will stabilize around it.

The universe has infinite resources... I wouldn't be worried about too much population.

The real issue is allocation. The system described above solves that.

Could take a global war to reorganize around that system.

Basically the problem at the moment is one of optimal allocation, not resource scarcity.

Because they refuse to build desalination plants, because our economic system is "crabs in a bucket" where everyone is cutting off their own noses despite their face. They will die of thirst surrounded by water because they refuse to let anyone make money by building a simple desalination plant.

Listen, you asked for someone with a 150 IQ who knows almost everything. That is unironically me.

The solution is a 50 / 50 crypto tied to SS# rather than goods & services. 50% of every transaction is split between all adult SS#s, and the currency evaporates at a consistent rate when it rises above the floor.

That system would take humanity through the next few million years with peace and stability.

Think deeply about the implications of this. Model it. Understand the social consequences of it. Understand the effect it would have if 50% of every transaction with equally shared by every adult in the civilization. Understand the alignment or incentives and self organization principles that would come out of it. Understand how we would stop fighting each other to the death out of scarcity mindset.

Or don't. It genuinely doesn't matter. The system that adopts this principle will dominate, and so it's virtually inevitable.

No. The technology exists to feed massive numbers of people if there's the will.

>It's estimated that by combining hydroponics and aereoponics you could feed up to 50,000 people per square km. Since there will be 100 floors, this increases to 5,000,000 people per square km of farming towers (on potatoe paste). Since we're talking balanced diet, lets say only 1,000,000 people. At that rate, you'd need 100,000 square km of farming towers to feed 100 billion people healthy balanced diets.

2nd law was discovered in relation to train engines.

Only a complete NPC lacking in critical thought would look at the continuous optimizing of the Universe since the "big bang" and think it applies at cosmic scale.

Here is the difference between us:

My opinion I'd based on critical thought and observation.

Your opinion is based on parroting what authority tells you.

You are a religious person.

I am a scientist.

Not that guy, but there's obviously not infinite resources, only a stupendously large amount. If the light speed barrier is impossible to overcome, which seems overwhelmingly likely, then we pretty much only have access to our solar system's resources. That is still quite a lot of mass and energy, but ultimately finite.

Within the next 100 years it will become common knowledge that this Universe is an infinite recursive pattern. Something like a fractal. We can go inward forever. We are already doing it, as that is the true nature of Singularity.

Infinite universe. Not close. Infinite optimization.

There is more complexity in a single human cell than in the first 1 billion years after the "big bang".

Furthermore 2nd law only applies to heat systems.

Heat is only derivative. The Universe is not fundamentally a heat system.

>If universe is not fundamentally a heat system then why are there plumbing?

Heat is just the jiggling of particles. It's derivative and perfectly balanced by a negative "attracting" force. These two forces - positive & negative- "sharpen" each other into emergent complexity: life, stars, planets, cells, you & me.

>> No.14588901

Thanks chief, for that definition. That's not what I am asking. If the universe is something like fractal that means energy in and out, no? Friction creates heat, if this recursive pattern happens I imagine heat is the fuel driving the energy. Isn't that just one giant plumbing system?

>> No.14588982

>>14588912
>If the universe is something like fractal that means energy in and out, no?

There is no "out". The universe is not a closed system.

Yes, friction creates heat but you are ignoring the other side here that outward energy is perfectly balanced by "inward" "attracting" energy.

It's a negative AND positive system. Perfectly summing to 0.

Our inability to get more energy from a system then we put in is a completely human observation. The universe does not care about our steam engines, and is in a constant state of change. Any energy that leaves one of our human made systems collects within another system through attractive forces where it fractions and burns again. It's an infinite optimization process on a universe scale.
