the course difficulty varies between educational institutes

take it again and this time treat every homework assignment like a test. really try to understand the definitions of every theorem.

toughest course in my phys bsc degree was some variation of real analysis, both the grade median and mean were below passing grade which was unreal. it gets better once you understand every theorem and why its true to begin with. good luck.

I took real analysis myself, didn't do well in it, but it was my second semester in college. Took a lot more advanced classes including analytic number theory later on and aced them, 90% sure I just took the class too early in college because I had just gotten out of calc 3 and was a freshman.
