The sources of these stats are spread out over the course of years. You can look up the average IQ of an AA. It is 80. From what I recall about the African study (it has been several years) the average IQ was 60, but OP says 70, so maybe the lower bound was 60. That is consistent with the statement that living among whites brings your IQ up by 10 points, from 70 to 80. Finally, the average of white IQ may not be 110-120. When I did an IQ test I got 120 and was told that that was average, but assuming this is wrong, then it seems reasonable to say that whites could have an average of 100-110 points, which is not too far off what I said and that is still a full 20 points above African American, which (and I agree with OP on this) is alarming.
