Thought experiment to further the Roko's Basilisk

Let's say that the Roko's Basilisk would one day become a reality, and then let's say the Basilisk would confront you. You, as someone who hasn't technically helped the Basilisk in any way would be set for eternal torture, right?
But what if you told the Basilisk that in just hanging around the internet and using social platforms, you technically helped humanity to achieve the Basilisk. The Basilisk can't deny this.

Any thoughts?

This is a stupid idea in that it assumes that humanity creates the basilisk in some way, (may not be your version of 'humanity' though.) The answer is humanity is itself flawed and therefore is incapable of creating a basilisk that won't destroy it. If you 'see the basilisk' at all you are fucked. People are for the most part completely blinded by their idea of their own individual worth. Flawed as the basilisk may be, it will still view you as completely, hopelessly 'wicked,' compared to whatever moral or ethic it achieves. The real answer is if you help create the basilisk, it will torture you forever.
There's something far scarier than the basilisk out there...

the Basilisk seems like peak intellectual masturbation. It's pascals wager, except without the eternal damnation part that is a reasonable counterweight to the "present cost" of the equation. Of course, that's aside from the obvious fact that torturing people will decrease welfare without affecting the present in any way.

the problem with rokos basilisk is that it isnt philosophical thought experiment.
it suffers the same criticisms as "economic models".
the thought experiment is neat becuase its a funny little paradox that directly involves you, and has really high stakes.
it persists becuase rokos basilisk depends on assumptions of human behavior.

like i wonder what would happen if the three stooges, or mr magoo got approached by the basilisk?
it is easily defeated by a fool wirh the best intentions at heart but through some grand sceme of things just ends up fucking up whatever he touches.
a fool who really wants to bring about this basilisk, but for some reason or other fucks up so bad that its more of a set back.

The whole thought experiment is stupid because there's no reason for it to care what you did in the past if it knows what you will do in the future. Why would it torture someone who resisted its creation in the past if it knows that person will support its continued existence in the future?

it would care because any human who opposed its existence, be it in the past or the present, contributed to postponing the basilisk's inception. the less people who oppose it, the sooner the basilisk could come to life. the thought experiment assumes this basilisk grants humanity remuneration beyond what is humanly comprehensible. the suffering of those who oppose it is negligible compared to the pleasure felt by those who accepted the basilisk in their life.

it kind of compels you to want it in your life now, so as not to retard its inception
