The center of the Galaxy acts like a gyro scope.

Perhaps it's less of a hole, and more like a compressed massive body made of gravity field.

Think of how massive bodies compressing/welling/warping gravity field produces light lensing and redirecting;

For such a massive example and primarily of gravity itself, it seems to make sense it would have a weird relation with light

When we get images of other spiral galaxies what do their centers look like? Is it dark, or is light lensed around it, is light richocheted around it?

Those stars are NOT orbiting anything. They are all traveling in straight lines.... but those straight lines are being bent by a lot of something that has become a nothing by being all in the same location, which isn't strictly there any longer.

center of mass of the galaxy, there doesn't have to be anything there, its just a center of mass. equally sized binary stars orbit around nothing too, this is the same thing, a center of mass is just that and nothing more, there doesn't need to be anything there. how does a helicopter stay aloft hovering with nothing visible to support it?
