what kind of carbon emissions do you think thunderf00t has to upload all those videos he makes

The smugness cringe is getting out of hands. I just can't take him seriously anymore.
>I'm going to save the world
>my research is soooo important, look at this peace of sodium exploding when I put it in water
>I hAvE a PhD iN ChEmIsTRy
>oh boy, you done up goofed now Musk
>obvious pop sci bullshit: BUSTED!!! I don't debate my enemies, I bury them!
>Will you just look at the time, it's time for another Musk busted video!
>oh boy another dehumidifier kickstarter, better make busted video explaining elementary thermodynamics
But I guess this is what happens when you let algorithm dictate your content.

Use sodium smoke to block out the sun?

Retarded cunt.

So he wants to use sodium as a fuel to have its output smoke, sodium hydroxide, absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to give sodium carbonate which would raise the pH of the sea.
This would get rid of both the global warming and sea acidity issues.
However, I highly doubt that we have any method of producing sodium that consumes less energy than what it gives when burnt.

correction, burning sodium actually yields sodium oxides. needless to say, all of them turn into sodium carbonate as well

Dude just buy drain cleaner and dump it in the ocean i can just walk to the store zero calories footprints

Maybe making all that debookning videos finally fried his brain and now he is the one making proposals on the same level as solar freaking roadways or hyperloop. All he needs now is some fancy CGI and indiegogo campaign to fund this.

Trying to power the engine with it is likely a waste of effort.

I doubt it would have a noticeable effect. The oceans are big.

That's impossible and isn't the intent.

The climate activists aren't interested in solutions that would cheaply and safely allow us to keep using fossil fuels.

His incredible hate boner for Musk is honestly sad. To his credit he did hate Elon way before it was trendy for one political side to hate him so I'll give him that.

He shits on hyperloop because he doesn't understand large projects but he wants to shill some dumbfuck technique he made up for geoengineering?

Absolutely amazing.

Just dedicate a few nuclear reactors to the purpose.
