Is seasteading a viable concept in the 21st century or is it just a pipe dream?

Personally, I feel Cay Sal bank could be an excellent place to experiment with seasteading communities, preferably on the north side of the atoll as to not damage the local coral reefs. Any serious projects should be designed to compensate for a predicted sea level rise of 4 meters by 2100.

True for everything.

seasteadings are a libertarian pipedream. And it's not like any real life seasteading is going to look as cool as any of these concept renderings

Always be moving to avoid rain, storm and other bad conditions or weather, so all they ever see is sunshine and good times.
Also they can constantly rearrange themselves to keep things fresh.

>Here's some blurry picture taken at an unknown time of day, this proves that all the recorded water level changes we have all over the world are fake
The avg. sea level has risen by 13.5 cm from 1841 to 2000, you really think that sort of change could be reliably measured on a photo like this? Not to mention tides existing.
I genuinely don't know if this is bate, false flagging to make climate change deniers look even dumber or someone genuinely being this stupid

Might be worth it to evade laws and taxes, but I don't think it's possible to outrun the weather on sea, and anyway, the storms there tend to be much worse than on land. Think 30ft waves and stuff like that.

Unless you can desalinate water en masse, I doubt it. Rainwater aquifers could work, but I don' think they would fill at an efficient enough rate to be able to support a community past the size of five or so families.

Desalination technology is improving quickly enough to make seasteading feasible.
