Two options:
1) They accelerate quickly to this velocity and die from the force.
2) They accelerate slow enough to this velocity so they don't die from the force. They die from old age.

1. If you go *at* c, time slows down to 0.
2. If you faster than c, you'll travel backward into the past.

Probably, depending on where they are. if they're in space, yes.
>>1446762
you would feel the same no matter what speed you were travelling at, that you would feel heavy is a misconception.
Forces from stationary bodies would have a much more rapid effect, but none would last long enough to actually make you feel heavy.
>>1446775
time slows down as you speed up; when you reach ~300,000km/s it gets to virtually nothing relative. Inside the spaceship you would feel normal and outside would look really fast, outside inside would look really slow.

1. Relativity is bullshit and it is getting way too much attention on this board

2. Given that FTL or near speed of light flights are possible, It would take years to engineer structures capable of resisting such fuckhuge accelerations of dozens of g.

4. Not necessary if we wanna settle on mars.

5. Very little power-saving and efficient propulsion technologies available nowadays.

6. Most people trying to discuss light speed movements have no fucking idea of how momentum and 3rd law of newton works. Previous threads prove this. Seriously what the fuck?

7. Grab some fucking classical mechanics books and learn from geniuses like Newton or Euler before getting into GR.

Newtonian physics are all that matter on the macroscale. Newtonian physics put a man on the moon and puts astronauts into space. It's wrong, but unless you're launching rocket-powered proteins it doesn't matter.

Turns out matter CAN'T go at c. And saying that for photons time has stopped doesn't make much sense. It's all about relative intervals, so again, that assertion makes no sense.
