if anything the scores on this website should constantly change. this is a distribution is it not? so to be an honest statistician you would have to save the scores of each person and constantly update everyones score based on new data.

So even if you did well now, more and more individuals could do just as well and lower score closer to it's actual value in the population.

I think that would be the only academically honest thing to do in this situation. It seems that if they can't even understand something as basic as that then they probably cant be trusted with gauging your intelligence.

well take what you know: You know its going to be diamond shaped because of the rotations, and you know its going to have 3 dots because the figures are merging. that leaves 3 and 4. Then look at the movement of the dots during the rotations. the top row look like it only has one dot, but its really two dots, one static and one moving. so the next figure on the top row before merging would look like the 2nd figure on the bottom row. once they do merge they will be #3, the answer.

Yeah, it's fucking bullshit.

Two approaches:
The square in the upper series moves clockwise 45 degrees each time and the dot moves clockwise every second time, beginning between steps 1 and 2.
Lower series square rotates counter-clockwise 45 degrees and the dot also moves every second time counter-clockwise, first time between steps 2 and 3.
The answer would be 4. Last square makes no sense, as it's unclear anyway which rules to apply for the merged one.

Second approach:
Dot moves clockwise in the upper series and counter-clockwise in the lower series. In both cases the square turns 45 degrees clockwise and then counter-clockwise alternately.

There rae also those that rae functional atheists but don't have the courage to admit that they are. The fact is, if you're agnostic you don't have a reason to believe in a god. I was just reading an ews story about how a storm in Oregon caused a huge surge in power generation from windfarms there, which the power grid couldn't handle. Comments from other readers were made about suing the excess power to pump water uphill to lakes for later hydroelectric generation, or using a hydrogen storage process (allegedly high efficiency). My thought on that was: couldn't we built flywheels on-site at windfarms both to storea n surplus energy, and to smooth the energy output at the same time?

This test is actually just a different issue of the TRI52.

The first half is relatively easy, but then it gets generally harder and more tedious as you progress.

In my opinion, the toughest questions were the ones with the textured quadrilaterals. For those, I tended to use more analogical rather than sequential reasoning.

And for those who were wondering, for some of the converging grids, the products don't seem to match up, so you might have to use the process of elimination to help derive the answer.

Here's my theory...

Assume both grids are rotating clockwise.

The dot on the top level switches side, then moves one space clockwise. So the fourth and fifth top grids have a dot on the left and bottom right, respectively.

The dot on the bottom level remains in place, then moves one space counter-clockwise. So the fourth and fifth bottom grids have a dot on the right and top left, respectively.

The combined fourth grid has dots on the left and right, while the combined fifth grid has dots on the top left and bottom right (consistent with the depiction). The implied answer is 4.

Wrong.
Wrong (Although it looks pretty clear, to help you understand, "IQ" is a quotient, obsolete because no longer in use. What remains is "deviation IQ" which is an abusive term. Index or standard score are much more approriate.)

My shitty paint skills can hopefully communicate what's wrong with your hypothesis. Specifically, the last step for the dot in the upper row, one step clockwise, will move to the upper left, not the lower right.

Also, I'm sure you meant that the grid is rotating counterclockwise.
