Two years ago Axel Mellinger went on a mission. He set out to create a massive photographic panorama of all the stars in the night sky. He is now finished -- having created an image with something like 25 million stars in it.

God no. Red shift in naked-eye visible objects is completely negligible. Stars are of varying temperatures, this is why there are red points.

Is there a human-eye view of stars?

Because other methods of seeing stars and even planets distort their nature colour.

Just look at Venus and Pluto. Different images show them in different colours.
