My first year in college my Astronomy professor used to always talk about Sagan but he never named him. He would just refer to him as "the famous astronomer who liked to indulge in wacky tabaccy". When we learned about the constellations he showed us some cheesy cartoons of what they were supposed to represent (ie, Capricorn being the Water Goat, which is just a fucking dented rhombus) and made a joke about how the original astronomers must've liked "wacky tobaccy", too.

tl;dr my astronomy professor was a tool, wish I had Sagan instead
