/sci/, thoughts? Legit site, legit information? Seems kind of sensationalist to me, but am curious, yet skeptical.

>> No.1405881

me taking a crap has contributed to the end of the world in some small way. so sure bp can be part of the shit storm.

From what i read of that site thoough, it shant be anything like that D:<

and for what exactly? Or am I being trolled. Either way, I'd like to hear what the actual intellects of /sci/ have to say. Is there really any possibility that the Gulf shit will have any catastrophic consequences, be it through means stated in the article, or otherwise?

We could just light the methane on fire. Problem solved.

Dinosaurs so primitive they didn't even have fire.

This has been posted at least once a day ever since the article was written and has been debunked each and every time.

It's bullshit. The end.

As soon as someone predicts the end of the world he loses all credibility in my eyes(inb4 hundres of global arming replies)

Unless you can give me a link, I won't just take "it's bullshit" I'd like to actually SEE the refutations, and specific details as to what about the article is bullshit.

Not because I believe, or want to believe the article is true, but because I'd like to remain objective on the subject and make my judgements based on actual knowledge.

Global Arming will be the end of the world. Support gun control before it's too late.

When my non-skeptically thinking friends bring shit up like this, it's nice to have a means of refuting their statements, other than "derf typical end of the world prediction, couldn't possibly have any validity."

>> No.1405984

>>1405971

so you want to be objective on the existance of goblins and unicorns too?

>> No.1405995

>>1405984

There are no rational arguments for goblins and unicorns; they don't require debunking. This is a rational argument, thus it needs to be debunked.

Where have you been the last few weeks? Go through the pages of /sci/ and you can probably dig some of it up, like I said, people have been posting it daily. I didn't bother to save anything from the last posts, so I can't provide you with anything.

The only reason you're not getting a lot of help is that it's just been getting old, that's all. If no one else ends up posting anything, maybe I'll try and skim through google for you later.
