What's a better job field: biological (including biomedical) engineering or nuclear (including making MRI systems and stuff like that) engineering?

- Stability
- Job Outlook
- Overall funness (lol)
- What the hell is the main difference
- Salary
- will I get booted out, outsourced, have my job taken over by youngsters, or be fucked over by more expirienced workers each industry?

both are equally gay

>> No.1395554

Bio. Market is just bigger.

>> No.1395574

well i take it you mean radiological engineering. to be honest, i would think the fields overlap in most areas but i would talk to an advisor or something and take courses in both.

here is a tip: LEARN MATLAB for these types of engineering. helps immensly to get ahead of competition making algorithms and shit like that.

4-year engineering degree programs are being phased out in favor of certifications (in the US). Engineering is not a smart carrer to get into, your degree will end up being worthless.

you can't get an "MBA in engineering"

but getting an MBA after getting an engineering undergrad degree is a god tier combo and if you are good at your job you'll end up in upper level management of a big engineering company.

more money if you can find a fucking job. no one wants a grad student, master or phd, out of school. you have effectively ZERO experience and therefore are worth nothing to an employer. no one cares if you mastered your text books in college or not
