well yeah obviously, there is only 2^64 total configurations of the board (barring the 5x5x5 board, which has 2^125 configurations.)

And of those, the maximum possible number of different solutions for each puzzle is 64Cx , where x is the target number of minimum cubes you can place to get the optimal 10/10 solution. That's a very loose upper bound as well.
