Your prejudice is enormous. Huge, vast tracts of America contain an abundance of towns founded on Protestant beliefs and institutions. Those communities built wonderful Universities that educated the people that won world wars, fought disease, and put men on the moon, as well as built the systems that allow you to sit at your computer and feed your face.

In short, being a conservative Christian doesn't make one stupid or backward.

I've seen a miniature tornado form at a barbecue. And I mean it, first a low breeze started spinning dust at my feet, creating a horizontal funnel. Never said that conservative Christians are the most backward or stupid. It's just they don't believe in evolution and aren't too keen on science.
