Some two months ago there was a ig talk about broken Voyager. It was reportedly sending wrong signals. Some thought it was UFO and NASA was supposed to check it and if broken, fix it. But I haven't heard of anything. What have they discovered? Is it really only a damage?

It was probably broken long before we found out about it, mostly due to >>1276387

it was a single flipped bit in its RAM. They found this out by downloading it all back here and compared it to what was supposed to be in the ram, found the flipped bit, and sent the command to re-flip the bit back to its normal value
