What the actual fuck? Assuming this isn't a troll, what phenomenon could this person actually be describing? Obviously it's not a baby, but... what?

I'm not the person in the image, I have no idea what they're talking about.

I know. But if the person who is responsible for that does not provide pics it is not worth reposting or even acknowledging.

First, the logical assumption in this case would be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teratoma

If you read too much into teratomas and teratogens, though, you'll get really fucked up.

I was going to say "BS, where would the mass come from?" but if we ignore that, we could make vague sentiments of lost testicular tissue, which might happen in the right kind of cancer patient.

So: either it's a dislodged teratoma (READ: TESTICLE CANCER) or a misidentified baby hamster. But a teratoma wouldn't have a food source and would starve very quickly.

Friend, the teratoma grows the way it does in part because it's not being regulated by the presence of the progesterone cycle that occurs in the mother's body during pregnancy. If you were to give a mans the anatomy necessary to have pregnancy and birth, you'd need the whole kit and kaybootle of anatomy down there, as well as hormones to keep the thing running. Where do you expect the offspring to come out, anyway? The butt?

tl;dr: more like hermaphrodite pregnancy.

Teratomas are disorganized, random tissue. They're not going to be getting up and fucking things any time soon.

I have a question about the teratomas. They require a nutrition source to grow. How about eggs - what do the birds inside eggs feed off of to grow into animals, or are they already given all of the mass and nutrition to grow into a creature?

>> No.1274151

>>1274147
They feed on the shit inside the egg, yo.
The yolk or whatever

>> No.1274161

>>1274147
>>1274151

Correctus. That's what yolk is, and the word is used in other places in biology for things with the same meaning: fetus food. The egg's size is calibrated so that the creature developing inside will be safe until it is developed enough to deal with the outside world, and that's accomplished with the highly concentrated nutrients that are within the yolk itself.

>> No.1274167

>>1274147

...and just to wrap that up, well-developed solid teratomas obviously steal nutrients from their host, since they have blood vessels and stuff too. This can become a problem for the fetus.

Isn't an egg just protein? (Same thing out hair and nails are made up of?)
