I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics but I don't want to be a wageslave. Should I learn programming? I have basic knowledge in C and Java. What language should I choose and what field should I go for? Website design, software, mobile dev, cloud, etc.

Learn Python and go into Statistics / Machine Learning.

This will give you the relevant theoretical primer. For practical work, find an ML course full of projects or give yourself something to keep your hands warm. Most "ML courses in python" are just baby courses for python devs to learn what tensorflow libraries to query.
