I am very frustrated. I spend money on the cheapest bottled water from the supermarket because I don't want to drink LA tap.

I wanted to buy a Zero Water Filter Pitcher but I am bothered by it removing all of the "good minerals".

Then I have my buddy that tells me "to buy only alkaline water and go for HIGH PH water."

Do I keep buying my bottles? or is the tap thaaat bad.

pH is a marketing scam. shit does nothing. the minerals in spring water are fine but aren't really needed

You can add minerals back with trace mineral drops, though I don't think it's necessary, you should be getting plenty of minerals from food.

High PH water is not a meme, but you do not want to drink it all the time. It's for specific uses (essentia is pretty good).

Find quality bottled water. Low quality bottled water isn't much better than tap (though LA tap sounds really bad). I've spent the last couple of years going through different brands to find the best. Fiji is decent but not the best. Some are worse than tap.

I use my heightened body awareness from years of meditation and yoga as my feedback. That's why I say Essentia is pretty good but I don't like high PH all the time. Anyone telling you PH doesn't matter is a moron.

Most bottled water is just tap water anyway. On top of that why'd you trust some corporation's water if you're scared of tap water too. Aquafina. Check the fluoride amount, atrazine levels, and other chemicals and tell me it isn't the best water for the cheapest price. It's only downside is that is has a ph of around 5.

Just get a still and distill your own water, it beats most glass bottle brands in price. It's a myth that you can't drink distilled water, the toxicity level for distilled water is at about 17l per day, while it's 24l per day for mineral water. You won't miss the minerals either, any modern diet supplies them in vast excess. Whatever you do though, don't buy water bottled in plastic bottles, literally the shittiest source for them, unless you have local brand, they're transported forever, and the plastic just degrades into the water
