Chimps are probably less aggressive than the typical animal is. I mean, look at any regular animal and compare it to a primate. Primates are smarter and less violent on average. Pretty much all animals are violent because they get their resources by beating the shit out of other animals so that is why animals are violent but chimps are less violent than the other ones, and humans are even less violent than that.
