unless you are drinking caffeine free tea, then it is still addictive. If you enjoy tea, you are getting a dopamine release, which is addictive. Coffee should be considered an herbal tea.

Everything in moderation
If you think you've become dependent on it or something stop drinking it for a while. Listen to what your body is telling you

this is what I tend to believe, BUT if there's evidence skipping it all completely leads to the same/better result in energy/mental clarity then I rather not even have it in moderation.

Coffee is literally a caffeine-containing water extract made from brewing coffee beans

How is that different from a tea made from other caffeine-containing plants, by brewing their components, whether they happen to be leaves, twigs, seeds or fruits?

If you have anxiety, sleep problems or sulphite sensitivity it might not be good to drink. Many people report their skin improves when quitting coffee. Can also cause issues with heartburn if drunk with certain foods.
If your depressed drinking coffee might help pull you out of depression, although you will kinda stabilize to similar mood level in the long-term.
Mood wise it seems to slightly numb emotions while slightly boosting willpower. So it can help you tradeoff relationship success for career success, which can be good short-term but lead to relationship problems long-term.

Longevity-wise it does not seem to have a huge impact on either causing or preventing disease.
