The mad tea party scene in the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was supposedly a satire of the way quaternions are multiplied.
I read the book when I was 6 or 7 so I missed most of the mathematical allegory.
Do any anons know about anything similar to this in AAiW, TtLG, and his other books?

Also discuss his /sci/ work, I'm only aware of his paradoxical work and probability work. They are very interesting but they don't seem that important, am I wrong?

Lewis Carroll was one of the coolest human beings of all time, and a brilliant photography in the earliest days of the medium as well. He looked like he belonged in his art; it's always neat (and typical, actually) when a creative genius evokes aesthetic appreciation from their physical appearance, independent of their work.

I like L.C. a lot too and I definitely enjoy the style from that time which is embodied extremely well in him. I think he did make a lot of good contributions to math though, they just haven't been as appreciated as they should be.
