What scientific evidence is there that the world could possibly end in 2012?

I heard something about geomagnetic reversal but that's all really...

pic unrelated but tyrael

Reported.

There's not the slightest evidence in case you didn't know.

>> No.1253652

That has nothing to do with the date. It happens and is 'overdue'. The world would not end.

>> No.1253647

Even if the world does become unruly, there is a way to stop it; legend of the crystal skulls bro.

I'm sure with todays available resources we could find all 13.

12 have been found already.

Oh, some jumbo about ancient south american pseudo-mathematicians [Mayans] creating a calender so scientifically accurate we can't actually use it, they also based it on a religious cycle of their idea of the destruction and rebirth of the world. (Seven celestial cycles)

The calender has accurately predicted every winter solstice since its conception, even the one in dec, 2012. People use that as a little backing for their CIRCULAR calender signaling the destruction of earth.

But, as you'll see, they are wrong about the celestial cycle part. If you brought them back they would probably palm to face, if you know what I mean.

Oh, and sage.

The continued existence of viable nuclear weapons. The world could "end" in 2012 if some idiot forgets to check the safety during a nuclear exercise.

>> No.1253822

The geomagnetic thing reverses every year, does it not?
Oh, and the Mayans have no credibility. They thought the world was on the back of a turtle or something. And Gods made five different type of people, including people of mud, before we were made.

no, it's on average every 100,000 years. If it happens now, it would probably fry most of our electronics, but it's a 1 time thing, so we'd recover.
The north and south poles actually move quite a bit every year, but they don't actually flip except in rare situations.
