The real world evidence directly contradicts this notion. Why do you think the notion of unconscious bias(impossible to prove by default) and white privilege suddenly became the go to explanations of racial inequalities? Because differences in opportunities were, legally speaking, equalized, and yet, there was still a huge gap in outcomes.

There is a mountain of evidence suggest the differences are explained by cultural/opportunity differences. That evidence, however, isn't GOOD evidence. The best evidence from the best studies we have show that the social explanation isn't accounting for all of it- not even close.
