Geologists, what stuff does Minecraft get right about geology and what does it get wrong?

some iron ores are brown colored, but most in reality are black, like hematite.
I'm sure it would have messed up with coal ore tho, and the color they chose is reminiscent of rust (iron hydroxide) so I think it is a good choice after all.

still me, also limonite and siderite (secondary industrial iron ores) are brown colored so yeah, representative of reality.

ores aren't randomly scattered, they are concentrated around geological faults, old volcanos or (former) sedimentary deposits
unfortunately, I never got mods that change ore generation working as I wanted them to

Ignore them. Their believe in science is a religion, while our science is based off alt-facts and alt-truth which nobody proven wrong cause we'll just change our beliefs and warp our perception of reality to suit our own needs. It's true that if you're dumb enough nobody can win an argument against you.

all praise the floating rock!

also, this is what happens when god creates a rock too heavy for even god to lift. God simply moves the Earth instead of moving the rock. God is lazy and never put the Earth back tho.
