This is quite rare even in science and makes mathematics a long outpost for reason when most other disciplines have (((committees))) and (((communities))) with internal politics that will invariably be taken over by the left.

A very well recognized issue in data science and statistics. This idea is not contested by any respected mathematician, computer scientist, or other institution. If you're going to train models to predict things like criminality, you need well constructed and heavily considered datasets.
