journalism is dead and a lot of sources are politicized. a lot of the med language is just too convoluted relative to the standard populations understanding

either way, people are increasingly distrusting science, or blindly following dogma/corporate interests/whatever anyone with a badge says is correct.

i appreciate discussion with independents who don't represent profit or political motive, and just want to share info

Ok, then your options are
1. get a government grant(highly unlikely)

3. take a loan from Mr. Shekkelbergstein.
Remember that the cost of living in these countries are a little bit lower than in France, so that might offset it a little bit.
https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=France&country2=Hungary&city1=Paris&city2=Budapest

Most likely option. 60K in tuition costs + cost of living every year (should be around 12K if I'm frugal) amounts to over 100K, man that's hefty
>the French medical system is not that keen on accepting students from outside of France.
Eh, it's an exam for residencies, so they kinda have to as long as the degree is EU-accredited
Thanks for the info, friend

Unironically also thought the same until I did some research. 600 a month(300 for rent and 300 for living costs) is enough for cluj and iasi, now for bucharest I would expect around 800 a month

>> No.12427378

Kek, not even in Timișoara is enough for living properly. I don't pay rent as i have my own apartment and I still spend over 1k on utilities, groceries and gas.

That's what I'd expect to pay for a tiny condo in a small town in western europe. I've even seen cheaper, I could easily get by with 800/month in any western euro country (except Switzerland, Luxembourg and all the other tiny rich places). What does 300 euros get you in Romania?

Rent is less than 300. I live in western europe and currently spend 150/month on food and I have all I need, I just don't splurge on stupid shit. As for utilities, insurance, electricity that kind of shit add 100-150 tops, I'm guessing it's cheaper in eastern europe. That's 600

Hey guys, newfag(to /sci/, I almost exclusively post on sh/int/) here and I have a question.
So right now, I'm a 3rd year med student(not american so 6 yrs btw) and I'm feeling like starting an epidemiology research project(1st time doing that kind of thing) with some of my colleagues and publish it afterwards. However! There's something I'm anxious about. Should I e-mail one of my professors about the project and tell him and then my colleagues and I can produce a final manuscript and send it to him/her for some final professional editing or so then have our professor publish it under our names and his/hers too? Is something like that feasible or is (primary) research inaccessible to med students and is just a grad thing?
Any advice would be appreciated !!

What? It's what I pay to live comfortably and have what I need plus what I want. Maybe I spend a bit more money than the average wagie, but if I got it, why not profit? If the anon is trying to survive, 600 I guess it's decent, 250 for rent is usually the minimum here, utilities range from 100 to 150, groceries for 150 and 50 left over for gas I guess. He won't go out drinking, just sitting there in a dirty flat, uni-home-uni-home. Idk man, seems like mental illness to me.

Most of it is socializing through our studies, we talk to each other during our breaks in the libraries and on campus. Once in a while we go out for a beer, we eat out now and then, and at the start of every semester, we get shit faced and party once or twice. Compared to other fields of studies, we actually have quite tight-knit social bonds through our collective "suffering". It is like we are old war buddies.
