why dont protons spin slow down over time

>> No.12418805

they don't spin

>> No.12418807

quantum mechanics. certain quantities can only have discrete values.

>> No.12418829

bro time particles lmao, just spin slower than time. like what if you snort a line of quarks and they quantum teleport back outside of you? wouldn't that make, like, a quantum nuke or something, broooo

like, scientifically speaking, man

Well why would the spin slow down?

Not friction, not air resistance. I see no reason why it would slow down.

Spin is not angular momentum. Is magnetic dipole momentum

>> No.12419541

why dont the magnetism get weaker over time

> Spin is not angular momentum.
Not true. It's the intrinsic angular momentum from the rotation symmetry of the SU(2) group. Classical angular momentum is exactly symmetry same but from rotations in 3D space.

It's how many symmetries they have in one dimension, but physics are retarded to call it with useful world.
