That's the point, they are not able to isolate the virus and culture it.
All they can do is observe the deterioration process in a sample that already contains the "virus" (as opposed to a sample in which the virus was introduced), AFTER they poison the sample with antibiotics.
Basically they are calling a virus something that was already present in the sample and was harmless.

We'd hear about how the hospitals are suffering a massive crisis, yes.

The major issue isn't JUST the disease causing deaths, its that the US has a drastically low beds per population amount compared to other developed nations (Thanks capitalism!) so its very easy for us to reach full capacity from a minor surge. Like what's happening RIGHT NOW, and happened in urban areas earlier this year like new york.

And even if the disease's death rate is low WITH A HOSPITAL ROOM, once you fill up those beds everything goes out the window and you start dying of not JUST the virus, but OTHER preventable things like injuries and other diseases, and the medical population starts shrinking as well as THEY start to get sick.

So yes, we'd be hearing about it due to over a million preventable deaths occuring (Rather than 1/3 of a million) due to the hospitals being overfilled.

> the disease's death rate is low WITH A HOSPITAL ROOM
It's pretty similar with or without a room. If you're old and weak enough to die from covid a hospital room doesn't make much difference.

There's no evidence that any lockdown or testing measures have made a positive difference in terms of deaths, we know they've killed a lot of people, made mental illness skyrocket, poverty skyrocket and generally put the western economy on a steeply declining path.

Nuking the government to prevent any policy decisions being taken would've probably saved more lives than it would've taken. Future public health modeling should include public executions of political figures whenever WHO announces a pandemic as a means of reducing lives and QUALY lost and economic damage due to political posturing and mismanagement so bad that no management at all is preferable.

Measures were generally not taken to close schools, restrict travel, close borders, or recommend wearing masks. Quarantine was not considered to be an effective mitigation strategy and was ‘‘obviously useless because of the large number of travelers and the frequency of mild or inapparent cases.’’

Closing schools and limiting public gatherings were not recommended as strategies to mitigate the pandemic’s impact, except for administrative reasons due to high levels of absenteeism.

This is why I said "likely" because of course I can't prove that, but thank you for pointing this out, because this is the exact same faulty logic used to justify the lockdowns. contrary to what your favorite sources of propaganda may have told you, the job of a scientist is to constantly question pre-held suppositions. In so doing, new truths are learned. All scientific advancement started with one scientist, or small group of scientists, challenging the "consensus", whether that consensus was religious, political, or even scientific. Did you know that doctors used to prescribe heroin, to children? It was marketed as a side-effect free panacea. It took a small contingent of doctors challenging the consensus that it was safe before others could change their mind. Why are you so afraid of questions? The truth will stand up to anything, and has no fear of examination.

I never argued the lockdowns did. Though I will say that because multiple countries did lockdown the jury on it's effectiveness is still out. Some came out well like South Korea, Japan and South Africa while others like U.S., Brazil and U.K. came out more poorly. It's very possible that other factors contribute (or even by itself is responsible) to success of the lock down such as a more healthy/ younger population with the former countries while the latter countries are less healthy/ older populations.

But truthfully while the primary reason for the lockdown was justified to "save lives" the more practical reason was to stagger the spread as much as possible not to overwhelm the healthcare system.

Look at countries like India. Much larger population, much more poverty, much more widespread poor sanitation. low cases.
The lockdowns were sold to us to help "flatten the curve". What curve? not the case curve, the hospitalization curve. Right now, deaths and hospitalizations remain low, even as the cases continue to rise. This is to be expected as, at the beginning of the pandemic, the only people being tested were those with severe cases and those who died of the disease, as more and more people are tested, we see death rates drop (even as the actual numbers go up) because more and more people are getting tested who are not even symptomatic. It seems that up to 40% of people who test positive would never have otherwise known they had the disease as they never develop symptoms.

Let me say this about India. The death count for them is increasing (currently +130k) but the major issue with them is that because they are caste based system the deaths will need to have an asterisk next to it. This is because the untouchable caste (which consists of hundreds of millions of indians) are highly ignored and devalued. Does this mean India is lying about their numbers? No, I'm sure they're being earnest or at least more earnest than someone like say China. But there is definitely a feeling that there are a number of deaths not being counted because certain castes are less cared about than others. Although this is merely assumption on my part and should not be taken as gospel.

It already is. You're very late to the party. The funny thing is that you're not noticing it at all. See for example how Trump win 2016, how ads work, how CIA-founded social networks in the middle east worked etc etc.

How do any of those show lockdowns working to effectively stop the spread of anything? When they closed down restaurants and bars in the US, every single person bombarded the local Walmart to buy TP. What if state governments did absolutely nothing instead? Would our numbers be any different? How do your charts of poland vs czech republic reflect that?

I don't know anyone that's ever died in a car crash either.
Must not exist.

You could have at least said Sweden or analysed pre-lockdown extrapolations for a given country.

Isn't sweden a given in this argument? If any of the lockdown/mask crap worked, wouldn't sweden be on fire? There's no data that shows that to be true.

No, and anyone saying yes is likely a fed shill or working for the media, because this dumb shit doesn't even exist, and no one can prove that wrong.
Coronahoax is a CIA project in collaboration with Cronos and the cult of Saturn to drive the underground dwellers out from their bunkers, mainly in China currently, so they can wipe them out once and for all.

No. I mean, how often does a cousin talk to you about how someone they know has the flu? It doesn't happen. There might be general talk of a flu going around, but that's it, nowhere near the hysteria of this virus.

>>12404891
I got it, so did a cousin. We were both fine after a couple of weeks.

Anyone else get contact dermatits from wearing gloves? How did you deal with it?
I use cortizone cream twice a day. It helps slow it down and can get rid of it after a long period of time but I was wondering if anyone has a better solution?

I live in a rural area - my friend, who also lives here, went to visit family in a city, came back, and turned out to have the virus. Thankfully he basically went from the car to his flat and didn't leave, as he was too tired from the journey. If he had gone shopping, seen people etc. he could easily have started an epidemic in this small town of about 6000 people. So yeah, that brought it very close to home and demonstrated how easily it could spread.

Regardless of its severity I think the real angle to all the hype and attention is governments preparing the general public for worse to come.

With massive overcrowding and unsanitary conditions still increasing in many parts of the world the likelihood of new or more potent strains of disease is increasing. Combine that with the failing effectiveness of antibiotics, the lack of major advances in medicine to combat disease, the sheer scale of international trade and human movement, already strained medical services, and the general dumbing down of the general population over the past few decades, then you have a perfect storm in the making.

Covid then is the opportunity for governments to do a full dress rehearsal in anticipation of a much more deadly disease appearing over the horizon. I suspect this is the real reason behind what often appears to be a major over reaction.

The advantages are to appraise the state of their medical and quarantine services under pandemic conditions, but also to condition the public to the sort of restrictions and requirements which would be needed to fight a more deadly threat.

This is part of the problem, everyone who has had a cold or flu in the past 6 months now announces they had Covid.
>I had Covid
>Were you tested?
>No, but it was Covid.
Watch them get antsy if you push them about why they are so sure it was Covid and all their symptoms match a common cold or flu.

It's too fucking funny to me, but also sad, how history exactly repeats. Back during time sof the Spanish flu there were also voices claiming conspiracies and control of people to harm military power on literally no basis.
And people seem proud to not have learned anything from history. Is it funny? Is it sad? I'm confused at times and can't discern the two.
