I want to try psychedelic drugs because their effects ts on the mind seem ver cool and interesting, and they can offer very deep insights into one's mind, the ones I know are LSD, shrooms and DMT, even though in don't know much about them.

What are their effects?
What should I know and do before i try them?
How do i know that I'm not being sold cut/fake drug when I buy it? What precautions should I take? What are the differences between the various psychedelics?

Tread lightly. A lot of people who attempt so call "heroic doses" never touch them again because they have an awful experience. Also with LSD specifically, some people can take extraordinary doses and recover after a few hours to a few days while some people are never the same again. Look up the story of the discoverer of LSD and what he called the Single Overwhelming Dose. He took that and then tried to ride his bicycle home. After extensive experiments with LSD he still said he thought it was far too dangerous to be recreational.

Yea listen to this guy. I'd honestly recommend only taking 50-75ug your first time. Then 100-120 next time. Don't overdo it, you'll still have some insightful brain magic happen at a low dose like 50. Learn your own tolerance, be respectful of the chemical. Could easily drive you borderline psychotic taking some ridiculous dose without any prior experience. DYOR and understand things like set + setting.

also, browse the Psychonaut Wiki. Great information on the chemical, pharmacological, and psychological aspects of each drug. Maybe read some trip reports on Erowid/Shroomery or find some youtube vids to get an understanding of the subjective experience. You'll be glad you did if you find yourself in a sticky situation, trust me anon
