Hopefully by either breeding a better human or developing AI that replaces us. Every generation goes extinct and is replaced by something different to itself, that's the premise of evolution, no species is truly static, life is a recursion with inter-generational self-similarity and self-difference, not a looped repetition of perfect clones.
