Im not sure why but im intrinsically drawn to this theory. I dont know of I've ever heard someone bring it up on here. Am i being a popsci fag?

LQG is a darling of the popsci people. true. but it is cool. at least ashtekar variables provide another way of thinking about spacetime. but they have really not done much with it. it’s kind of sad. like some indian dude comes up with some ingenious way of quantizing space time but all the eurofag phds like rovelli can’t do anything with it. so in my opinion it is a complete dead end
