Robotic prosthetics should be for people that actually need it and not for larping retards. There should be a system in place where people would get blacklisted if they crippled/amputated themselves intentionally and never have access to prosthetics. Depends on both what you define transhumanism as and what party, if there is one, is responsible for this process. Transhumanism as "wow you can have super strong robot parts" is shallow and not transhumanist in the slightest. Transhumanism is about the abandoning of the sacred body as it is no longer nessesary to house the mind, which is the real gift of the human form. We owe it to ourselves to expand and facilitate this gift as much as possible, no matter the cost. Of course, if globalhomo is charging me a monthly subscription for my enlightenment, it will not be real enlightenment. We will not accomplish anything beyond sad materialism as long as they still exist.
