I got a good job offer but I have one more year of grad school. I really want to take the job but I’d be working about 80 hours a week (my estimate). Do you think it is possible? Have any of you worked full time during school in a non-meme degree?

So I did full time employment and full time school plus an internship for a total I'd say between 80 and 100 hours a week in my last year of e c o n o m i c s
>but that's a meme
Deal with it
Whether or not you can do is up to your personal stamina. For me I was thoroughly burnt after that year. It's definitely possible if you manage your time appropriately. Get ready to have literally zero free time
I'd also say it's worth it if the job is good. You can deal with a year of eating shit.

How did you manage stuff like exams? Was your employer willing to give you an hour off here or there? Or was everything online ?

I would do my homework when no one was watching at work, I also did internship projects during that time. On one occasion I did need to slip out to take a final and negotiated with the manager to let me do it if I brought back coffees. Other times cut a deal with your professors. Basically just need one or the other to fold.
The logistics of it is the biggest pain in the ass, moreso than the workload.

>reading economics textbook
>they keep reiterating that it is a science
>they're talking about how they're like the Wright brothers and the MythBusters and how Mick Jagger majored in accounting for a few weeks in like 1961
This field is a joke. I'm unironically laughing reading this serious textbook. It's literally a joke.
