That we will escape from this cage of rotting biomatter in our lifetime? And how?

There is no cage of rotting biomatter. There is only only rotting delusion that traps the mind into seeing and believing in things that do not have coherent meaning.

While cool, exchanging your bodyparts with metal shit will never happen. We will harness genetics to generate tissues you never even dreamed of, we will make brain-computer fusions out of cells that would boggle the mind of anyone alive and muscles harder than steel. That will be the real transhumanism, nature already makes incredible machines far beyond our understanding.

We will catch up but not during our lifetimes

Stop being fat and weak and actually take proper care of your body and you won't feel that way about it anymore. Also girls might actually talk to you if you have enough self-respect to do the above.

Well, with life extension technology you might see total conversion cyborg bodies become avaible in the later half of this century.

Honestly, the closest three things that could make humans immortal are the following.

1. Merging with AI. Imagine downloading your mind into a computer. That would be cool right.

2. Making clones of people. Imagine giving people a new body after 75 years.

3. Robotics, imagine your brain getting put into a machine. Your body will never give away but sadly your brain will only last so long.

So really the only real chance is downloading everyone brain into a computer. That would be the best chance we have. Then you would just play the waiting game until science can put you into a android or new body again. Technology man, it's going to either make us or break us.

I mean, the person or entities running our simulation could in theory introduce off world stuff to us to get us moving in the right direction (example the tic tac UFO's obeserved by the Navy).

What do you mean like what?

The brain is the most amazing computing machine so far even encountered in the universe, provided it has water it can keep operating on stored energy for 2 weeks. It uses just about fucking anything for fuel.

The body is amazing and the mechanism nature uses for storing information as blueprints for future organisms along with its inbuilt imperative to introduce variety in future copies is mindblowing. Its the most amazing thing out there literally.

Much more cool than autistic babby tier binary shit we can do
