How does one reconcile the dream of a post-scarcity utopia with the fact that the nature of entropy prescribes a definitive end of the universe, and that every move you make, let alone Turing-complete automata, takes away sand from the hourglass?

Rephase with brevity and I will answer.

How can you believe in post-scarcity when the universe itself is scarce?

By lying to yourself, humans do it all the time.

You can believe in anything without evidence.

space-time will be meaningless I see.

Because human society is such a small scale occurence compared to the "universe" that it will never matter.

Plus, hey, if we really do get super "post scarcity" and all that, we might have enough time and resources to engineer a solution to entropy. So, there's that.

I'll say it again too
