Why do I have to accept this man-made shit as the ultimate truth again?

>> No.12082714

You don't. Time Cube disproved math a long time ago

.

Because truth about non man-made shit is not accessible to man brain.

There's no ultimate truths or theories.
Good mathematicians are aware of that fact.

Math isn't man-made

You don’t. Math operates under certain assumptions, which are independent of it, but also allows you to understand and explore different assumptions. Especially at the topos theory level.
In the end you’re just playing around. Why are mathematicians useful then? They aren’t generally, but sometimes certain theories gets applied and you get things like physics, computers, and CT scans.

it just works, unlike anything you're involved in.

Statistics gathered is not the ultimate truth at all and you cannot characterize by the numbers the nature of everything.

Not truth, nor certainty. These I forswore

In my novitiate, as young men called

To holy orders must abjure the world.

"If ..., then," this only I assert;

And my successes are but pretty chains

Linking twin doubts, for it is vain to ask

If what I postulate be justified,

Or what I prove possess the stamp of fact.

Yet bridges stand, and men no longer crawl

In two dimensions. And such triumphs stem

In no small measure from the power this game,

Played with the thrice attenuated shades

Of things, has over their originals.

How frail the wand, but how profound the spell.
